The evening will showcase a new collaboration between The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute and Genesis Concierge Medicine.
This special engagement will highlight how our organizations are working together to expand access to leading-edge personalized medical care, with a focus on three key areas:
• Cancer Care – Enhanced access to world-class oncology, surgical expertise and medical treatments that are not available or accessible in Canada.
• Genetic Testing – The benefits and risks of genetic testing and if it’s right for you.
• Destination Medicine for Canadians – Supporting Canadians considering cross border care when domestic wait times are too long or advanced care outside of Canada is required.

Event Speakers
Dr. Peter Stanich
Dr. Peter Stanich is a gastroenterologist and associate professor at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. His clinical focus is on the diagnosis and longitudinal care of patients with hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes and is part of a multi-disciplinary specialty clinic in conjunction with genetic counselors.
He values practicing medicine at Ohio State for its academic environment, culture of continuous learning, and opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration. This team-based approach supports the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Dr. Stanich is committed to delivering personalized, state-of-the-art care while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with his patients. He is a past president of the Collaborative Group of the Americas on Inherited Gastrointestinal Cancer (CGA-IGC). He completed his internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic and his gastroenterology fellowship at Ohio State.
Dr. Raquel Reinbolt
Dr. Raquel Reinbolt is an internist and medical oncologist dedicated to redefining how cancer care is delivered across the care continuum – bridging innovation, compassion, and community impact. She completed her training at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine and residency, Chief Residency, and hematology & oncology fellowship at The Ohio State University.
In addition to her role as an Associate Chief Medical Officer, she currently holds multiple other leadership roles at The James, overseeing inpatient, urgent, and diagnostic cancer services. Known for building scalable models of care, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, and shaping strategic priorities that align with value-based care, her contributions have earned national recognition and positioned her as a thought leader in oncology transformation.
Jason K. Walsh, RN, MBA,
Jason is a Senior healthcare executive at The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – James Cancer Hospital, where he leads oncology business development which entails elevating cancer care for all. He drives global patient access initiatives, including a high-impact international program serving hundreds of patients each year.
With more than 20 years of experience in academic medicine, Jason specializes in building innovative, scalable programs that connect patients worldwide to advanced cancer care. A nurse by training, he brings a unique blend of clinical insight and strategic leadership to improving the international patient experience and advancing global healthcare collaboration.
Milly Valverde, MA, CMI
Milly is the Director of Destination Medicine Global Health Care at The Ohio State University.
Valverde leads global patient care operations, implements strategies for key markets and oversees new international initiatives and relationships – aiming to increase the medical center’s global footprint.
Dr. Rochelle Schwartz, MD, CCFP, FCFP
Dr. Schwartz is a Co-Founder of Genesis Concierge Medicine and brings over 35 years of experience as a family physician. She has a particular interest in proactive, integrative medicine, as well as patient advocacy. Renowned for her unwavering commitment to excellence in care, Dr. Schwartz is highly respected both within the medical community and among her specialist colleagues throughout Ontario.
Dr. Schwartz has also been a dedicated advocate for cancer patients across Canada since 2010, playing a key role in advancing innovative treatment approaches. She co-founded the Panov Program in Precision Chemotherapy, bringing cutting-edge cancer technology to Canada. Her work reflects a deep commitment and recognized expertise in cancer care and patient advocacy.
Dr. Sharla Lichtman, MD, CCFP, FCFP
Dr. Lichtman is a Co-Founder of Genesis Concierge Medicine and is widely respected as a family physician with a focus on proactive, integrative anti-aging medicine.
With a background in Psychology, she brings a thoughtful understanding of the connection between mental and physical health.
Over the course of her career, she has cared for and guided countless cancer patients, while spending more than 30 years advocating for her patients and providing exceptional, personalized healthcare planning.
