Dr. Ben Welkovics is excited to be part of the Genesis team. He has a special interest in preventive and proactive care, patient advocacy and health literacy. He is known for building collaborative, trusting relationships with patients, and together optimizing their health and wellness goals.

Dr. Welkovics graduated from Western University with an Honours BSc Double Major in Medical Sciences and Psychology and received the Academic Merit Scholarship. He attended the University of Toronto School of Medicine and completed his residency at the Schulich School of Medicine and Dentistry at Western University. He received the Canadian Immunization Conference Bursary for Excellence in Research and was a finalist for the Dr. Frank J. Butson Resident Award in Family Medicine.

Dr. Welkovics is a fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians and member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
